  23. you cannot be that good then…
    even with the best brain you can’t beat hundreds of years of study ( by grand masters),especially not during the course of a game.
    you can beat beginners like that…not advanced chess players. knowing your openings and sticking to them is a must if you pretend to defeat someone who actually knows the main lines.

  25. A friend asked me this when I was showing him this opening. He asked me what the reason was for playing 3. d4.

    Other then to help develop the Q bishop, it allows black to exchange a slightly weaker C pawn for a more important center pawn. Can anybody tell me?
