The screen is so poorly done that it is virtually impossible to read unless one is in extremely bright light. Also, the shape of the pieces is hard to distinguish. I was extremely disappointed with this product.

This is a horrible product. I just got it for Father’s Day and I’m sad to say it’s unusable. You can’t see the screen. It’s difficult to tell the pieces apart. For this amount of money, it plays like a $5 game.

I was very dissappointed when, no matter how I adjusted the screen settings I could hardly see the pieces on the dark squares. This renders this product almost totally unusable. Very poor showing Saitek!

A nice little handheld. The very nice LCD screen actually has a white square in the lower right hand side! (always a plus for “true” chess players).
Plays a good strong game too… Perfect for anyone coming up the ranks.
